Blended from four Central Otago vineyards in both Bendigo (90%) and Gibbston (10%), the Gold River Pinot Noir has a lovely purple hue and deep freshness, indicating the quality of the vintage.
In Bendigo, the lower altitude Red Shed vineyard gives sweet fruit and structure; higher altitude Ardgour Valley and Gibbston sites spice and depth. All fruit is handpicked, fermented separately in small open top fermenters and kept separate throughout time in barrel. The blend is assembled prior to bottling and gently filtered.
