Luis Canas White Rioja 2014

Nice golden yellow with bright lemony reflections of great luminosity. The nose presents fine, with great elegance, combined with floral and fruity tones. The palate is dry with crisp acidity that gives freshness and liveliness, with a structured and tasty ripe fruit finish.
This is an unoaked blend of 90% Viura (30% is the minimum requirement for any white Rioja in combination with other permitted varieties) and 10% Malvasia.  Two classic white Rioja varieties.

Try this with fish dishes, vegetables such as the local Riojan delicacy white asparagus, or spicy dishes could work quite well too.

Made with 90% Viura and 10% Malvasia, average age of vines is 40 years.
